During my previous studies at ETH Zurich and HKUST, I had an abundance of research and system development experience in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering. I participated in MATE 2017 and Robomasters 2018 mainly working on competitive robotic system development. I also got to practice my leadership and team management skills while being the team Captain for Robomaster 2018.Â

I enjoy exploring the essence behind current cutting-edge technologies and creating new blends for innovation. This is the reason why I participated in various research works at the HKUST Robotics Institute, ETHZ Sensory-Motor-Systems Lab, ETHZ Soft Robotics Lab, MPI-IS Robotic Materials Department, and ETHZ Computational Robotics Lab.

I am fascinated by the idea of connecting academia with industry, so I decided to broaden my vision with R&D internships at MPI-IS, FESTO, and Xeno Dynamics. This unique combination made it possible for me to experience/imagine the evolution from a scientific breakthrough to functional components, and finally to mass-produced products available to the public.

My ultimate passion lies with robotics, and in particular, its applications in nature. I am currently looking into possibilities to achieve better performance with electrostatic actuators/muscles. The goal will then be to find fitting applications for such actuators in the industry.
